A big thanks to Nancy Rein, an agent in my office who wrote this article about Disney’s Aulani Resort and Spa.  I loved reading it and I think you will too!!!

Disney’s Aulani Resort and Spa by night
The month of June we celebrate Father’s Day. We also get ready for  “School Summer Vacation”.  Many families are planning what they will be doing for entertainment during this time.  In Florida we have many choices.  The question you may want to ask yourself is, “Do we want to go to the same places again”? We do want our children to continue to learn during the school break.  What might be great fun and educational for the entire family?

How about considering one of Disney’s newest resorts.  The Aulani Resort and Spa.  (Aulani, means a messenger of a chief).  It’s located in the Ko Olina Community in Oahu, at a spectacular gentle lagoon beach, one of Disney’s fine qualities.   Located in the Waikolohe Valley the 7 acre center of the resort has a lazy river, waterslides, water-play, Aunty’s Beach House Kids Club (free), multiple areas indoors and out.  This beautifully designed Resort honors the Hawaiian art and culture.

During your stay at Aulani you will experience a place where ancestral stories are told, built with the nobility, beauty and grandeur of Paradise. You will find that The Hawaiians pay special respect to elders and consider them the keepers of wisdom. These values create a peaceful culture that treasures the magical connections between all living things.  No matter what your child’s age, they will be amazed at this beautiful resort.  It will be fun, fun and more fun for the whole family. What better way to learn about the Hawaiian culture than with some of their favorite Disney characters such as Lilo & Stitch. Even “tweens & teens” will have plenty of activities to occupy their time.  They have a spa for teens to pamper them.  While the children are busy with their activities the parents can spend leisure time in the spa or some romantic time walking on the beach.  Why not take the grandparents along to enjoy the splendor for some real quality family time.  What beautiful memories it will make.

Making Memories

What a wonderful learning experience and adventure for everyone.  It’s always wonderful to see the excitement of life through a child’s eyes. Aulani is a spectacular way to experience the warm and welcoming Aloha experience of the Hawaiian people and their culture.

Disney always knows how to bring out the kid in all of us.  I will see you at Aulani in 2013!     Aloha!
