My parents, also agents in my office spent a few days experiencing hotels in Mexico last month. Here is what they had to say about the first hotel they visited:
Just a short 10 minute drive from the Cozumel airport is a small all inclusive resort on the island of Cozumel called the Cozumel Palace. A diver’s paradise is just outside this intimate hotel. But what this resort lacks in size it makes up for in the huge heart of its staff. They are the friendliest people I’ve met in a long time. They find a way to engage all the guests in either the activities offered or at least in conversation.
My first impression of the hotel was of warmth. Greeted outside by a warm and welcoming bellman with a cold towel, and then escorted to an equally warm and welcoming reception desk, we were handed a flower and checked in within minutes. My next impression of this lovely hotel was blue – the pool outside the windows and the ocean beyond that. It was so peaceful and relaxing!
And they offer so many amenities to make their guests feel welcome and at home.
That evening we sat by the pool as the sun went down, watching the cruise ships leave port and the most beautiful sunset. In a short time we had made friends and enjoyed the camaraderie of a small, intimate paradise. There are several dining options to choose from, none requiring or even needing a reservation. A very refreshing way to spend a few days.
